The sunny market community of Schlanders is located between the Reschen Pass and the spa town of Meran.
Schlanders is embedded in the beautiful orchards of the Venosta Valley where blossoming in spring makes the surroundings look like a fairytale land.
The symbol of the village is the 97 metre high church tower of the Maria Himmelfahrt parish church; the highest church tower in Tyrol.
The beautifully designed pedestrian area in the centre of Schlanders provides the village with an urban flair. Numerous cafes and restaurants invite you to linger. Several shops await you for a relaxing shopping stroll.
