Thick stone walls, arched stone doorways, and a rustic wood-paneled parlor: the Schnatzhof is one of the oldest estates in Silandro/Schlanders, first mentioned in records as early as 1390.
Our listed organic farm has been in our family’s hands since 1987. Over the years, we have poured our hearts into shaping it into what it is today – a cherished home for us, and a warm, welcoming retreat for our guests.

Our organic farm in the Venosta Valley has been run across generations – as it has always been on a true South Tyrolean farm. We are Brunhilde, Elmar, and young farmer Tobias.
Together, we do our best to live and work as sustainably as possible. Above all, we place great importance on healthy soil management, which benefits not only our harvests but also the flourishing greenery surrounding our farm.

Farming has always been a tradition here. For generations, we have been cultivating crisp, juicy apples in our orchards. From them we produce apple juice and apple vinegar, and in autumn our guests can savor freshly picked fruit.
Our vegetable garden and herb beds provide the finest ingredients for mindful cooking. We love turning our Venosta Valley apricots into delicious jams, and if our hens have been busy, you can also enjoy fresh organic eggs.
